We have talks and discussions on architectural subjects and visits to places of architectural interest.

Wed. 7th January, 10.30 a.m at Christian Centre, Bedford Road.
Talk by former Architect, Ian Hill: “Ideal Men and Ideal Cities” - all U3A members welcome to come.
Wednesday, 21st January, 12 noon at Royal Academy, Piccadilly, London.
Visit by train to the Byzantium Exhibition.
Wednesday, 11th February, 2 p.m. at Friends Meeting House, Paynes Park.
Talk by member, Barbara Alexander, on Andrea Palladio and his Architecture, it being the 500th anniversary of his birth.
Wednesday, 11th March, 11 a.m. at Royal Academy, London.
Visit by train to the Palladio exhibition.
Wednesday, 8th April, 2 p.m. at Friends Meeting House, Paynes Park.
Members will bring a photo of a building they have seen recently and tell us what impressed them about it.
Wednesday, 6th May, at 10.30 a.m.
Visit to Southill Park to see the house and garden owned by the Whitbread family.
Guided tour will cost £9. Open to all U3A members, but must be booked in advance.
