After a lunch break at Lymington we are visiting Bucklers Hard. The peaceful haven of Bucklers Hard is an 18th Century village where warships for Nelson’s Navy were built. The Maritime Museum and Buckler’s Hard Story give an insight into the history of the village whilst a trip on the river or a walk beside the river bank provides an opportunity to see some of its abundant wildlife. Why not take the interesting ½ hour river trip, up and down the Beaulieu River? |

The historic city of Ely is full of charm and beauty and home to one of the most magnificent cathedrals in England. Look in awe and wonder in your own time around this magnificent building famous for its unique Octagon tower. Whilst there visit the stained glass museum, the only one of its kind in the country. Ely museum houses the story of Ely from prehistoric times to the twentieth century, and is set in the City’s former Gaol, whilst Ely’s Eel Trail is an excellent way of seeing the historic city at its best.
